Our client, a large QLD Government Department, is seeking to engage an experienced Delivery Lead Coordinator to lead teams to ensure the successful delivery of current ICT initiatives.
**Role Details**
A Delivery Lead Coordinator is required to lead delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of current ICT initiatives. Identifying & coordinating the financial, human & physical resources required for the planning, development, & delivery of ICT initiatives to budget, time & quality targets. Liaising with internal IT service management & operational support teams to ensure that new initiatives are delivered in a sustainable way ensuring benefits can be realised.
**Key Responsibilities**
Delivery co-ordination including (but not limited to) the following activities:
- The ICT Branch will be upgrading all computers from Windows 10 to Windows 11, due to Microsoft no longer supporting Windows 10 devices after October 2025.
- This move includes user interface, security and feature changes that may have impact to Application functionality and ways of working.
- This update will be released under the Evergreen methodology utilising release rings of staff, Early Adopters, App Testers, Broad Deployment and Specialised deployment.
- Corporate fleet includes 10,000+ computers that will be upgraded.
- Plan and coordinate project activities and resources to deliver the required outcome within the project timeframes.
- Produce required project documentation in accordance with policies and procedures within a project governance framework.
- Ensure appropriate project governance and assurance activities are in place for the project.
- Develop and implement communication plans, organisational change management plans and benefit realisation plans where necessary.
- Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers as well as Senior Management and other Project Managers.
- Provide effective management of risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and priorities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Manage project resource allocations.
- Provide direction and support for the project team.
- Timely and accurate reporting on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Ensure project administration activities are undertaken in accordance with internal governance and compliance practices.
- The key measures of success for this role are delivery of projects and work packages to the agreed Scope, Schedule, Quality and Budget baselines.
- Other duties as required.
- The role may have quarterly Key Performance Indicators to maintain.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Experience in software or operating system deployment projects.
**Highly Desirable**:
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.
**Further details**:
8 Hours/day - 40 Hour working week.
