**Role Overview**
- Reporting to the NPI (New Product Introduction) Purchasing Manager, the Purchasing Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely coordination of purchasing data to enable purchase and delivery of materials aligned to the project timeframes and material requirements in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform full-cycle purchasing process including sourcing, negotiating quotes, placing orders and monitoring deliveries.
- Work across departments in the organisation to support NPI team in sourcing, planning and purchasing materials from design stage until product launch.
- Provide material quotations for internal and external projects.
- Regularly monitor vendor pricing, availability, and negotiate contract terms with suppliers.
- Setting up new vendors/suppliers
- Attend conferences and trade shows to develop new vendor relations.
