A Permanent opportunity for a Team Leader Development Assessment working within a large Western Sydney council

**Your new company**

A thriving western Sydney community with a great deal of development, this council have a talented town planning team with a consistent pipeline of modifications, varied assessments and court works. This council are currently looking to recruit a Team Leader for the Development Assessment who will act as a key leader to facilitate the growth, modernisation, and commercialisation of this rapidly developing local area.

**Your new role**
- Providing leadership to employees
- Be across all budgeting issues affecting the team
- Assure work loads are allocated adequately across staff to enable quality decision-making
- Provide staff with quality technical information and promotion of best practise in line with updated policies

**What you'll need to succeed**

Extensive experience in Town Planning is essential, ideally within the NSW local government space. This role would suit someone who has previously managed or led a DA planning team or is looking to progress into a leadership role from a senior government position.
