Based in South Melbourne, we work with a range of clients across government, non-profit and ethical private industries. We are full-service - including public relations, advertising, content, research, design, and production. **About the role**
Partnering across the agency, you will drive strategic thinking and processes to respond to our clients’ challenges and opportunities. You will use data and insights as well as your own curiosity to develop compelling and integrated communications strategies. You’ll be passionate about the role communications play in driving change in complex environments.
You’ll be working with the Head of Strategic Communications to improve the strategic output of the agency and will proactively seek opportunities to add value to our clients’ businesses.
**Responsibilities**:
Some of the things you'll be doing in this role:
- Developing integrated communications strategies for our government and purpose sector clients in consultation with other teams.
- Building audience segmentation and messaging for complex topics.
- Contribute to Think HQ’s internal strategic IP through our own frameworks and processes.
- Build client relationships and develop recommendations through strategic consultation and responses
- Work closely with the Insights team to design, facilitate and synthesise research to help inform strategies
- Facilitate workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews
- Undertake desktop research to uncover insights to form strategic recommendations
- Build strong relationships with internal teams: support and collaborate in order to deliver successful client outcomes
- Participate in the research, writing and delivery of new business pitches and proposals
- Research and write thought leadership content for the agency
**Requirements**:
- Three to five years’ experience working in house or in an agency environment in a strategic communicatons role
- A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or related field is desirable.
- Knowledge of industry-standard frameworks, methodologies, and processes
- Ability to conduct qualitative research and stakeholder engagement processes
- Ability to develop and moderate client and agency workshops
- Project and client management skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills
- Strong presentation deck development skills.
- Personal interest and curiosity in social, environmental and political issues.
Experience in a fast-paced environment, writing skills and digital and social strategy experience would also be great.
