- **Strategy - Vision - Leadership - Implementation**
This publicly listed services provider is a dominant force globally and in sectors of the Australian financial services landscape with deep pedigree in the provision of sophisticated and integrated service offerings, especially around credit risk, payments and debt services. Crucial to the group’s ongoing success and point of differentiation will be the relevance, dynamism and integrity of their IT capabilities, especially in light of the ambitious growth and innovation goals set by the group. Consequently, the CEO/Board are wishing to appoint a Chief Technology Officer to assume the critical leadership position for all things IT across their Australian operations in conceiving and then delivering on the optimal IT road map that will meet the demands of the business, customers and shareholders.
Reporting to the CEO, your remit is to project-lead the research and development of the strategic technology roadmap and transformation project across our client’s business, especially in respect of data and payments. Initially the role will engage with key stakeholders inside the business (CEO, CIO, Head of Transformation, COO and Head of Data & Insights) to review the current technology stack and gain a thorough understanding of the current and future needs and capabilities. Simultaneously, you will engage with global counterparts to identify opportunities to leverage the technology and capabilities that exist offshore, whilst utilising your skills, knowledge and networks in the external market to explore those technologies and solutions that will complement the growth agenda. As a protagonist within the ELT, you will deliver on the strategic plan for the Enterprise and help build a strategy and culture that has the customer, data and technology at its core.
A brilliant opportunity for a talented CX-centric, IT Executive who profiles with the following:
- At least a decade of quantifiable achievement within the IT sphere of Intelligent Process Automation, especially around data analytics, BI, AI and customer insights spanning structured and unstructured data, ideally within the BFSI industry vertical;
- Street smarts around business case production and execution - from concept, scope, design through to successful delivery, on time and within budget;
- A proven ability to craft and execute IT solutions that straddle business operations and IT with customer and shareholder imperatives - this experience could be in-house or working with a Vendor, SI, Consultancy or other Service Provider;
- Expert leadership, communication and teamwork skills with a proven track record of leading and inspiring teams to success; and
- Proven expertise around enterprise architecture, data base design and system interfaces.
