**Disability Support Worker -**

We are seeking for an Energetic Experienced Disability Support Worker to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS Plan and is able to communicate fluently in English, to meet the needs of our clients.

The disability support worker is responsible for implementing, training, support services, social, and recreational skills with a disability. Community inclusion, independence, decision making, and personal choice should be promoted through support, focusing on individual needs.

Due to the support needs of our clients, you must be available and willing to work varied pattern of shifts across a roster(including short notice, short shifts, night shifts, weekend and public holidays).

**Selection Criteria**

Ø Experience preferred but not necessary

Ø An understanding of NDIS and a commitment to its principles

Ø Good Communication skills with developed interpersonal skills.

Ø Driving's License, car and comprehensive car insurance.

Ø Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Ø First Aid & CPR

Ø National Police Check

Ø NDIS Worker Screening Check

Ø NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Ø New Worker NDIS Induction Module

Ø Covid-19 Infection Control Module

Ø Minimum Certificate III in Disability Studies or related fields (essential)

Ø A passion for assisting individuals with a disability to improve their quality of life and to reach their potential.

Ø Possess well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate effectively as a team member.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $31.47 per hour
