We are looking for one F**emale** Disability Support Worker to **start asap. Support Worker should have a minimum of 3-4 days availability from 7am to 6pm and be flexible.**

We are currently seeking an experienced and committed F**emale**Disability Support Worker to provide care and supervision for a client located in **Sunshine**. Other clients may be added with time.

Applicants must be experienced with a responsible attitude. The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support an individual living with a disability. You must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life and independence. You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful and the ability to connect with people with behavioural challenges.

**Qualifications & Experiences**

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Support Worker with the following:

- Certificate IV in Disability, Individual Support or relevant
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Driver licence
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Experience with Medication Administration
- Experience dealing with Clients with Acquired Brain Injury is an asset

**Key Responsibilities & Duties for Disability Support Worker**
- Provide individualised support and personal care to our client using a supportive and positive approach
- Motivate and promote client independence
- Assist the client with their emotional, psychological, cultural needs
- Supervise client's participation in community outings and transitioning between activities
- Provide transport when required
- Make sure our client is HAPPY

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid&CPR Qualification (required)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
