About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Disability Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a team, delivering a range of services aimed at helping participants live independently, actively participate in their local community, and engage in meaningful opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personalized care and support to clients with varying disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and dignity
- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Engaging clients in recreational and social activities to promote their well-being and independence
- Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and the broader care team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment
What we're looking for
- Minimum 6 months' experience in a similar disability support or aged care role, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in people's lives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Patience, empathy, and a person-centered approach to care
- A current First Aid, CPR certificate, NDIS WC, WWCC.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, are highly desirable
- Ability to drive house vehicles (Sedan, MPV) and a Valid Australian Drivers License.
