Reporting through to the Executive General Manager - Assets, you will be accountable for ensuring that all operational sites and commercial teams are adequately supported from a solutions, process and commercial perspective. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work our commercial team to deliver accurate asset cost inputs into tendering models and cost analysis exercises.
The position is also responsible for: managing capital projects; participating in strategic asset deployment to maximise asset utilisation; being the technical lead for maintenance initiatives & improvements and; supervising a team of seven.
To enjoy and get the best out of this role you need sound maintenance knowledge, a mechanical trade background or tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, experience in asset management and lastly, strong leadership and communication skills across all levels within a business unit.
Last but not least, this role will be located at our Bis Head office in Osborne Park with the occasional requirement of travel to our various sites when required.
