**About the role**:
We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our growing QLD/ NT building business..

The role will be accountable for the overall delivery of projects so that they exceed safety, quality and profitability objectives whilst developing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Also, supporting the General Manager in the creation and execution of strategy and overall management of the business.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Championing HSE policies, Plans and Procedures and ensure full compliance. Assessing & monitoring the HSE performance of projects and address concerns
- Financial Management. Ensure profitability by overseeing and monitoring project costs to ensure gross profit and turnover is met
- Lead and manage the overall delivery of projects, ensuring delivery is on or ahead of time with client expectations met
- Demonstrate leadership in risk management, compliance and auditing
- Lead staff and labour resourcing to ensure projects have the capability to achieve targets, strategic workforce planning and retention
- Drive performance by setting standards, objectives and holding people accountable
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders

**What we are looking for**:

- Demonstrated experience gained in a similar role with a tier one or two building contractor.
- Successfully managed multidisciplinary projects from a wide range of contract values and complexity
- Experience in managing complex client relationships and stakeholder management
- Experience in contractual, legal, commercial, industrial relations and legislative compliance
- Advanced skills in financial and commercial management
- Quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and qualitive risk assessment
