**About the role**

The Bid Manager will be responsible for undertaking effective measures to comply with UGL Bid Governance, enhance bid process and increase the probability of the company winning the contract (if deemed viable) and successfully completing the project through key coordination of risk and opportunity management and cross functional technical and commercial requirements.
- Ensure winning proposal strategies are developed and implemented to ensure the highest probability of sucess
- Review tender documentation ensuring a full and complete understanding of the technical and commercial commitment to which UGL/CIMIC will be obligated.
- Conduct risk assessments and management activities to evaluate all commercial, financial, legislative and resource risk associated with the tender.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the customer at necessary levels within their organisation.

**About You**
- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline (Commerce, Engineering, Marketing etc..).
- Knowledge of railway, infrastructure including tunnelling, communications as well as tendering and bid management knowledge on projects above 200M in value
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast paced environment with multiple and competing demands
