Administrative Officer

**Introduction**:
San Clemente Catholic College Mayfield is seeking a permanent part time (30 hours per week) Administrative Officer to join in June.
We're seeking an extraordinary Administrative Officer to join a diverse, multicultural school with students and families from a wide range of backgrounds. San Clemente currently provides many opportunities for students while recognising that each individual is unique with different talents and strengths and we have over 600 students across years 7- 10.
This is the perfect time to be a part of the team as our school is preparing to include Stage 6 from 2026.
**Description**:
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal; this role will be classified as a level 4.
**Skills and Experiences**:
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school
- Excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplace
- Demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasks
- Intermediate experience and ability to work with various databases, Microsoft office programs and excel
- Demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlines
- An understanding and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environment
- Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy. Category A - Accreditation to Work
- Experience working in a secondary high school student service area (Desirable)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
- Completion of Anaphylaxis training

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
