**Description**:
The Opportunity

CatholicCare are currently seeking a Social Service Programs and Practice Administrator. This is a Permanent Full Time position and you will based at our Mayfield Office.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Senior Practice Manager in the conduct of administrative and day-to-day tasks required to deliver NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Funded Programs, by CatholicCare.

**Key Task**:

- Provides support to the Senior Practice Manager in their engagements with external partners and stakeholders
- Interface with the direct reports of the Senior Practice Manger to ensure business continuity and the completion of operational and contracting requirements
- Develop, implement and maintain effective office systems and procedures to promote efficient and effective service delivery across multiple programs and geographical areas
- Ensure program service delivery aligns with the Mission, Vision and Values of CatholicCare, the legislative, operations and contracting obligations of DCJ and the Child Safe and Standards for Permanent Care of the Office of the NSW Children’s Guardian.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience/Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative role in a social service, public service environment with a sound working knowledge of the legislation, policies, and standards relevant to NSW child protection system, early intervention programs, statutory out of home care and child safe organisations.
- Proven high level of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and within a team environment to achieve operational outcomes in a timely and efficient manner with mínimal supervision and direction.
- A high level of integrity and professional standards with a proven commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and ethical practice at all times.
- Sound ability to source, collate, prepare and format information with excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills, including high level written correspondence and reports, outcomes and executive summaries and financial management related activities.
- Demonstrated understanding of working with people from disadvantages and vulnerable backgrounds including First Nation People and those from a CALD background.

**Qualifications**:

- Tertiary qualification in Business Services/Administration or equivalent.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- National Police Check.
- Diploma of Leadership and Management (Desirable)
