Finance Officer

**About the Role**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Officer to join our team here at ConnectAbility on a 6 week **Temporary** Contract.

The role of the Finance Officer is to support the delivery of a responsive, flexible, and cost-effective service that is reflective of the organisation’s vision, mission, values and strategic direction. This position is responsible for the internal and external administrative assistance as well as assisting in the day-to-day operations relating to organisational funding and expenditure. This includes accounts payable and receivable, data entry and reconciliations, Customer claiming and other duties as listed below.

As the Finance Officer your role will include but not be limited to
- Coding, processing and collating accounts payable related forms and credit card reconciliations
- Completion of a high-volume payments
- Generating and reconciling invoices and banking reports
- Claim process and lodgement for our customers
- Debtor management
- Credit Card reconciliation

**Essential for the Role**
- Certificate 3 or higher in Financial Services, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of MYOB
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Excellent telephone manner and professional image
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy information
- Experience in working in a successful team
- Exceptional initiative and problem-solving skills
- Experience in disability, health, or aged care environment desirable
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check for paid employment
- NDIS Worker Orientation module completion certificate
- Current drivers’ licence
