**Melbourne**, the
**Agile Delivery Lead** is responsible for driving Agile ways of working and DevOps practices in the Manage Market Data squad. Market data is a critical business function, the role will be responsible for timely ingestion and publication of B2B market interactions.

The role will be the focal point of all market interactions for the Retail B2B business, this includes the development and support of data pipelines to ingest, transform and display market data as well as make it available to consuming services in a cloud native architecture. It will also include evaluation of vendor products and integrating them where required. This will be achieved by working alongside product owners, product management, software engineering, and business units.

The Agile Delivery Lead transforms the way of working for the squad and their product owners. They ensure that their team can deliver on their commitments and commit to only what they can deliver, while still having enough time to learn, adapt and improve along the way.

**Lead the change, from the frontline**

- Plan a roadmap of delivery for each initiative that the squad understands and can track progress to;
- Ensure discovery, inceptions and releases happen at the right time and with the right outcome;
- Ensure broader strategic and transformational outcomes are included in the roadmap;
- Maintain good product backlog health;
- Clear impediments, prevent disruption and ensure continuous flow of work;
- Report progress, financials, time and effort accurately and on time;
- Lead the build and support of the new market data platform using a micro-services architecture with event streaming;
- Lead the operational support of the current platform whilst transforming into a cloud native modern architecture;
- Evaluate and lead the implementation and integration of vendor products;
- Analyse and lead change to market interactions into the platform in conjunction with stakeholders; and

**What you’ll bring**

- You have an in-depth understanding of electricity B2B market interactions in all Australian markets (required);
- You have an in-depth understanding of gas B2B market interactions in all Australian markets (preferred);
- You can guide the team through proof-of-concept projects partnering with engineering teams and strategize on implementing changes of tools/services as the team pivots for efficiency;
- You have an innate talent for managing partners, over many years of experience (5+) you have developed systems, methodologies, and strategies to get optimise relationships and deliver best of breed products and services;
- Your depth of technical and delivery knowledge enables you to collaborate with and positively influence broad communities of technical experts and stakeholders;
- You are an innovative, capable leader that can ask questions that uncover false assumptions, uncover challenges and generate better solutions. You listen and don’t rush to provide answers, your mindset is dialled into exploring ideas, prototyping solutions and experiments that support learning;
- You are customer-centric in your approach, your focus on providing a positive customer experience helps you and your team provide solutions that delight and provide competitive advantage;
- Your interpersonal skills (including mentoring, coaching and collaboration) drive your passion for building a well-balanced, high performing team;
- You are comfortable being responsible for continuous deployment, operation, and monitoring of your solutions and their infrastructure;
- Hands on experience within the AWS Cloud environment with data services such as AWS S3, AWS EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS Kinesis, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS EMR and products such as Snowflake, Matillion, Kafka is preferable;
- You have practical experience building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and implementing data controls for Business and IT operations and solutions that integrate with digital products and operate within a hybrid Cloud environment; and
- Understanding of SQL, Python and TypeScript is preferable.
