**Scarritt Group** is a privately-held full services meeting planning company specializing in logistics coordination in the pharmaceutical industry.
We seek an individual in Brisbane, Australia, who can assist with event planning and execution.
**Essential Services**
This individual assists in the planning and execution of the assigned event. These activities include:
- Acting as a liaison for customers and all vendors, suppliers, and third-party providers.
- Working with all vendors contracted to facilitate on-time seamless delivery of goods and services.
**Other duties**:
- Assist in planning calls to ensure the details and agenda of the meeting.
- Work with air vendor for flight arrangements. Work with ground transportation to facilitate accurate and seamless transfers
- Cross-reference rooming lists.
- Work with the venue to create banquet event orders that are inclusive of all correct program specifications;
- Go on-site to the program to coordinate all logistics, entertainment, and food and beverage. Work with the hotel/venue staff to ensure room setups and that any details outlined in banquet event orders are followed
- Ensure on-time delivery and setup of all equipment and meeting rooms, hand out meeting materials, and ensure accommodations are as specified.
- Work with the hotel venue and other third-party vendors to coordinate proper staffing for each event.
- Attend any required programs with the venue's staff throughout the program.
- Attend Post-Event Program with the appropriate venue representatives.
- Compile and summarize all program evaluations.
**Required job skills**:
- Proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong communication skills - both oral and written
- Organization and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer-centric skills - build trust and dependability
- Ongoing learner - able to learn and incorporate new and complex concepts quickly
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and following directions
- Effective decision-making, ownership, and accountability
- Able to handle ambiguity and favorably navigate through stressful situations and pressing deadlines
- Knowledge of technology, audio visual equipment, and setups
**Preferred qualifications**:
- College degree

- 8 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:
We require individuals that travel for the company to be fully vaccinated.
Non-vaccinated staff members (that do not travel) must submit to weekly COVID testing.
**Experience**:
- Hospitality: 3 years (preferred)
- Direct sales: 1 year (preferred)
