**ABOUT THE ROLE**

AssetOn are currently recruiting for an experienced Asset Management Planner seeking a role within the mining sector with an established tier one company. The position supports the delivery of the business by planning and scheduling work in accordance with the maintenance strategy and operating plan This is a challenging role which requires a strong background in planning with a trade experience.

You will be responsible for:

- Plans and prioritises work in line with the major events calendar by verifying equipment/resource availability, capability and condition and identifying safety requirements
- Delivers sequenced work packages for complex maintenance activities.
- Prepare budget and forecast outage durations in the 2-5yr horizon.
- Plans work in accordance with the 1SAP Work Management process, accurately identifying the required components and resources prior to scheduling.
- Engage specialist resources (where required) to support the completion of complex work.
- Liaises closely with Supply to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time.
- Review planned work developed by Work Management Planners to ensure sequencing is correct
- Supports technical and process development of the broader team

**ABOUT YOU**
- 2+ years demonstrated maintenance planning and experience utilising SAP
- Prior experience with BHP would be an advantage
- Degree / Trade qualified
- Thorough understanding of preventative maintenance principals
- Ability to work autonomously.
- High level communication skills.
- Full working rights in Australia
