About the Role
We are looking for Maintenance Planners to develop short-term plans aligned with our asset strategies and business plans. As the Maintenance Planner your responsibility includes identifying all work at a task level, including the duration thereof. This includes doing the planning and that these tasks are fed to the Works Management Scheduler in order to schedule all activities

What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Superintendent Planning & Scheduling your role will consist of:

- Verify and optimise strategies using Asset Health inputs, liaising with the Strategy Owner to recommend a course of action
- Review all PM01 Work Orders on a routine basis to ensure correct sequencing within plans
- Review all work when planning an outage and sequences relevant Work Orders into the outage
- Review PM03’s to determine plans that need to be restarted and liaises with A&I to ensure this is actioned
- Deliver sequenced work packages for complex maintenance activities to scheduler
- Plan work in accordance with the SAP Work Management process, accurately identifying the required components and resources prior to scheduling
- Plan and sequence packages of work identified as an Outage, with support from the nominated execution Outage Coordinator
- Arrange specialist resources (where required) to support the completion of complex work
- Liaise closely with Supply to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time
- Advise changes the Major Events Calendar for relevant Operation (if applicable), integrating the Production plan, Capital plan, Strategy and Shutdown schedules to cost effectively utilise resources and planned plant downtime
- Review data trends across an equipment class to identify inherent issues common across equipment classes
- Improve SAP Master Data to embed Standard Work Packages
- Create and modify Master Data when required
- Provide technical and system support to develop the broader team
- Support the automation of planning processes by proactively turning tacit knowledge into system embedded information
- Identify opportunities for standardisation across sites

What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualification, Engineering degree or appropriate time in role

Equipment knowledge (area specific)
- Technical understanding of Condition Monitoring and Asset Health Principles
- Specific knowledge of planning & scheduling and Work Management process
- Awareness of Cost Management and Forecasting Processes.
- Ability to multi-task and monitor large array of live data for exceptions and respond in accordance with a set protocol
