Overview:

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that procurement activities are executed in line with category guidance, and in compliance with relevant global policies, standards, guidelines, and operating procedures
- Monitoring and measuring assigned suppliers against industry norms for procurement and working with suppliers directly to improve supply reliability and cost down initiatives
- Partnering with approved suppliers globally and locally to develop supplier relationships based on Cook Values
- Actively participating within a Cook cross functional global team to understand business requirements and execute work based on procurement processes
- Collaborating with the Category Management teams on entity supply issues as required to maintain supply
- Ensuring that supply risks are identified, and plans are in place to protect entity operations

Qualifications:
**What we need from you**:
We are seeking people who align with our company values and have a passion for providing quality solutions to our patients. To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Understanding in Oracle ERP and experience with Oracle Cloud Procurement desired
- Knowledgeable of procurement systems and tools a must
- Direct and indirect procurement experience needed
- Demonstrated understanding of negotiations, driving cost reduction strategies and day to day procurement operations
- CPSM or CPM or other certification desired
- Understanding of demand planning and inventory management
- Excellent time management, planning and organising skills essential
- Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
