**Role Overview**:
As a **Gold & Jewellery Buyer**, you will be responsible for evaluating, appraising, and purchasing gold, silver, diamonds, and other precious items from customers. You must have strong negotiation skills, industry knowledge, and excellent customer service abilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assess and authenticate gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, and other jewellery pieces.
- Determine accurate valuations based on weight, purity, and market prices.
- Negotiate fair and competitive purchase prices with customers.
- Educate clients on the value of their items and provide honest, transparent transactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of precious metal and jewellery market trends.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all transactions.
- Work closely with the sales and management team to maximize profitability.

**Requirements**:
**Experience in buying gold, silver, and jewellery** (essential).
Strong knowledge of gold and precious metal valuation methods.
Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to handle high-value transactions.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Previous experience in pawnbroking, jewellery retail, or bullion trading is a plus.

Minimum 1-3 years' experience in buying gold, silver, and jewellery (essential)

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission
- Performance bonus
- Weekly bonus

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
