**Tekla Project Coordinator**

**About the company**

A leading structural steel and metalwork company in Brisbane who service the whole of South East Queensland. They provide and supply drafting, steel fabrication, steel processing and installation of quality steel components for a range of industries and jobs of all types and sizes. They specialise in stainless steel, aluminium and steel on medium sized structural steel projects from refurbishments to large portal sheds. **About the role**
This role requires a
**Tekla Detailer/Drafter** with 3-5yrs experience wanting move into Project Coordinating, OR someone with strong construction
**project coordination **experience, able to ensure every project has an accurate 3D model which correctly reflects architectural/structural requirements and site related information. Strong ability required to correspond, communicate and coordinate between project staff, internally and externally; ability to understand engineering drawings and identify design and construction problems within Tekla software. RFI’s, ITP’s and ensure QA consistency, liaise with all project staff internally and externally to ensure accuracy across all stages of the project.

**Requirements for this role**
- IT savvy with strong knowledge/experience in Tekla
- experience in Steel Detailing or Project Management in the Qld Construction industry advantageous
- Able to ensure every project has an accurate 3D model which correctly reflects architectural/structural requirements and site related information
- Ability to understand and assess engineering drawings
- Steel Fabrication and Installation background desirable
- Flexible on work availability (days and hours)
- Must be able to liaise effectively with people from various levels in a building environment
