About Us

We are a vertically integrated property development and construction company with a strong focus on delivering high-quality townhouse communities across Southeast Queensland. With a growing pipeline of projects, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Architect to join our in-house team and take ownership of design delivery from concept through to construction.

The Role

As a Project Architect, you will be responsible for managing the architectural design and documentation of townhouse projects, ensuring they are functional, compliant, and aligned with construction requirements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to coordinate approvals, resolve design issues, and support construction teams on-site.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design development and documentation of townhouse projects, liaising with China Group design team.
  • Prepare and coordinate DA, BA, and construction documentation packages.
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, and authorities to ensure compliance and approvals.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide design support during construction.
  • Ensure all designs meet planning regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
  • Collaborate with internal development and construction teams to ensure buildability and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage project timelines, documentation quality, and consultant coordination.

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Registered Architect (or eligible for registration in Queensland).
  • 3-5 years of experience, with a strong focus on residential or townhouse projects.
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of BCA/NCC, local planning schemes, and construction detailing.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Able to speak Mandarin for communicate with China inhouse design team.

Desirable

  • Experience working with a developer-builder or integrated property group.
  • Familiarity with Gold Coast or Queensland planning and development processes.
  • Understanding of sustainable design and energy efficiency standards.
