**About the role**
The role will work within an agile framework, partnering and collaborating with WooliesX squads and tribes, Group functions, Supermarkets, CFC’s and other support roles.
Within the context of the Woolworths Store operational environment, this role is positioned similar to roles such as: Compliance lead/ Manager including SSCO or above, safety lead, risk lead, State compliance, national compliance.
**Key Accountabilities**
- **Own, implement & embed CFC Compliance frameworks **to ensure we are legislatively fit for purpose and safeguarded from breaches.
- **Partner **with national end to end food safety, WX safety, internal audit, external audit, risk and safety to achieve the highest audit results while identifying opportunities that we can learn from
- **Provide compliance insights and action plan improvements for CFCs. **Insights to be incorporated into the CSA/ Iverify audits to support improvement. Coordination of additional compliance audits eg safety foundation day, Payroll etc with Safety and end to end payroll team
- **Partner and build **a network to support **continuous improvemen **t in audit outcomes through timely incorporation of audit result themes, process changes and changes in legislation
- **Lead governance **forums to ensure compliance adherence
- **Prepare **our CFC teams with the right information, certifications and documents to enable a high outcome in all types of audits
- **Provide **advice and guidance to **minimise risk **& achieve compliance for **new sites & initiatives
- **Support standardisation **of New Online departments (work with State Risk and Safety Teams and State Planning Team)**Who you are**
- Customer & Team focused
- Compliance background essential with experience in setting up new frameworks desirable
- Good understanding of legislation for safety/ food retail
- Experience in safety audits
- Store/ CFC Leadership experience with a good understanding of online operations
- Excellent communication skills, Verbal and written with the ability to communicate with thousands of stores team members, peers and senior leaders through forma coms, Information and performance packs
- Computer literate with a high level of analytical and data sourcing skills.
You should have an interest in immersing yourself in detail and using data to drive your decision making.
- An ability to work in an autonomous and self-directing environment
- Strong passion for process improvement, efficiencies and compliance, this background is desirable
- Strong management skills with an ability to communicate effectively, engage stakeholders, and influence outcomes. You will be capable of establishing yourself as a “leader” within the context of the activities you are involved with.
- You will have strong influencing skills that enable you to ensure stakeholders and decision makers can make informed choices with a clear understanding of implications.
- Naturally curious, with a friendly, engaging and flexible style.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of in-store processes and procedures
- Understanding of end to end process, with the ability to assist and rapidly problem solve
