**Brisbane City Location The Organisation**:
This prominent professional services organisation is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Officer on a permanent basis. Ideally you will be open to progressing to an Assistant Accountant role with training and support provided. This role will empower you to work for a large national organisation that is highly respected. As an organisation that invests in developing its staff and ensuring effective processes are in place, you will be working around highly motivated and engaged people.

**The Position**:
Reporting to a Finance Manager, this busy Accounts Payable Officer position will require you to assume full responsibility for all accounts payable duties including processing of invoices, investigating and resolving issues with suppliers and ensuring accounts payable processes are adhered to. This is a diverse role that will also require you to manage credit card expenses through to arranging staff travel and accommodation as well as reconciling all travel and accommodation transactions. The Finance Manager is keen to identify someone interested in growing and developing their skill set to better support the accounting team by doing journals, accruals and GL reconciliations.

**Your Profile**:
To be considered for this Accounts Payable Officer role, it is imperative that you have substantial experience working in a full function accounts payable environment. Due to the diverse nature of this role, you should be effective at multi-tasking. To truly thrive in the role, you will need to be proactive and an effective problem solver. As you will be liaising with a number of internal and external stakeholders, you will have excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong Excel skills will be highly regarded along with good systems experience. Finance One experience will be an advantage.
