Our Independent Hardware Group (IHG) is seeking a Network Planning & Optimisation Manager based in Heatherton to come in on full time basis to create and maintain a Strategic Network plan providing network insights and growth opportunities, which deliver positive and profitable sales growth, cost outs and market share outcomes for IHG. The role works closely with several stakeholders across IHG, Metcash and suppliers.

**What you’ll do**:
Able to create and maintain Network Plan for each state
Roll up the state plans into an executable National Plan
Support members as required for site / territory specific data requests
Able to identify optimization and expansion opportunities for the IHG retail store network and assist in the completion of business cases to achieve sign off

**What you’ll bring**:
Industry experience e.g. FMCG or related and experience with cross functional liaison, building and maintaining relationships with a diverse groups and stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience negotiating and managing conflicting stakeholder needs and priorities, working and leading a team through change and working to deadlines (e.g. restructures, changing consumer trends, technology, mergers/acquisitions)
Experience managing mid to large projects and establishing and subsequent management of joint venture network and corporate stores
Advanced knowledge of Mapping Software (MapInfo)
A dvanced knowledge of Data Warehouse Applications, extensive knowledge of Retail Metrics
Tertiary level qualification in relevant field (e.g. Accounting, Finance or Business or CA/CPA)

Knowledge of FMCG industry and the end-to-end supply lifecycle (e.g. vendor/warehouse/hardware/retail/wholesale/independents).
