We are seeking an experienced
**Claims Handler** with a strong background in casualty claims to work in our TPA team. Experience with financial line claims would also be highly regarded. This role requires outstanding customer service skills, communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to think strategically.

Dual working options are available (office and work from home).

This is a full-time role.

**Day to day responsibilities of the role include**:

- Claims file management with a focus on SME Casualty, Financial and Property Claims (although other classes of business may also be covered)
- Working with underwriters on matters of policy interpretation and making coverage decisions
- Investigating, assessing and reserving of claims
- Compliance with General Insurance Code of Practice and insurer service standards
- Negotiating the resolution of claims
- Centricity to customers, clients and brokers as required.

**About you**:
The role would suit a broker or claims consultant with:

- Experience in end to end general insurance claims management
- Demonstrated experience in effective internal and external stakeholder management
- Demonstrated insurance claims knowledge
- Attention to detail
- Negotiation skills and ability to handle objections
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement
