A rare opportunity has arisen for a professional experienced library assistant to join our small team at Clairvaux MacKillop College. Our library and resource centre supports our 1400 students and staff in a variety of areas including information and reference services, technical support, and promotional activities.

The role works closely under the guidance of the Teacher-Libarian and with one other library assistant.

**Role fit**:

- Previous library experience, particularly in a school environment
- Friendly demeanour, promoting a welcoming atmosphere for students and staff.
- Certificate IV Library and Information Services or equivalent
- Knowledge of and skill working with the Oliver Library Management system will be highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in cataloguing and information management.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and resource management.

Then we have the role for you. Our position is 30 hours per week term time only, continuing. Hours of work will primarily be 7.30am to 2.00pm but could be up till 4pm on certain days.
