**Job Description**:
The School of Applied Psychology currently has 51 academic staff and a number of research fellows across three campuses (Mount Gravatt, Gold Coast and South Bank), whose teaching and research interests span counselling, suicidology, health services management, and psychology areas encompassing clinical, social, developmental, cognitive, forensic, health, organisational, and experimental domains.

**What we can offer**
This is a continuing, full-time position and is primarily based at the Griffith University Mount Gravatt campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 5 range $74,016 - $83,033 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $86,598 - $97,148 per annum.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will be well motivated, highly organised, and be an experienced administrator/placement officer who thrives in a dynamic work environment. You will also possess the ability to work in a team, high attention to detail, and intermediate to advanced software skills are required. Placement experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Providing administrative support for student placement including the allocation, coordination, and/or management of placement programs.
- Coordinating the design of robust processes utilising Sonia and other available software to meet the specific program outcome requirements and reporting.
- Assisting with the assessment of student eligibility for scholarships associated with the Applied Psychology.
- Supporting the academic staff in capacity building of placements in counselling and supporting the ongoing relationships with industry partners.
- Coordinating the establishment and administration of placement agreements as needed.
- Utilising placement software to manage the ongoing placement requirements and reporting.
- Attending meetings of relevance to the role, including placement officer meetings at the School and Health Group, discipline-specific meetings and project meetings.
