**Seeking a talented Legal Accounts Clerk to join a progressive & passionate team (Up to $70k + super - office with a view in Melbourne, CBD)**

A unique opportunity has become available for an intermediate legal accounts clerk to join the accounts team at this reputable law firm in the heart of the CBD.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily bank reconciliations for all general bank accounts
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable - creditor invoices and client disbursements
- Billing
- Trust receipts, payments, daily bank reconciliation, record keeping
- Controlled Money Accounts
- Partake in the management and prioritisation of the firm’s busy accounts inbox

**About you**

You will have at least one years previous legal trust, AR, AP and billing experience in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of Trust Accounting procedures and guidelines
- Experience with legal practice management and billing systems (Aderant Expert highly advantageous)
- The ability to perform accounting tasks with accuracy and reliability
- Self-motivation and the ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
- High level analytical skills and ability to problem solve
- Flexibility in your approach and be adaptive to new processes
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to confidently liaise with internal and external parties
- Strong attention to detail
- Microsoft Word and Excel competencies
