We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Legal Accounts Clerk to establish their career in a successful and renowned Melbourne Law Firm.

**About the role....**
Reporting to the Accounts Manager and as an integral member of the small Finance team, you'll enjoy a varied role covering a broad range of tasks related to General Accounts, Accounts Receivable and Trust Accounts.

**Some of your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- **
- trust, office and credit card transactions (inc. receipts, payments and reconciliations)
- trust to office transfers
- post disbursements
- assist with end of month balancing and reports
- banking
- assist with implementing new processes
- attend to general accounts queries
- back up to Accounts Manager

**Skills and experience we'd love...**
Our client is seeking a pro-active team person who enjoys working in a team and is happy to step up and assist when required (e.g. back up to Accounts Manager). You will also have;
- previous experience in a similar role (legal experience essential)
- proficient skills in MS Office and accounting systems (Affinity experience an advantage)
- strong attention to detail
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to meet deadlines and work within time frames
