Strategic Asset Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Strategic Asset Management Program Manager, this newly created role will see you developing and coordinating strategic asset management framework, analysing life cycle costs providing recommendations of asset performance and/or improvement. **The role will be responsible for**: - Leading the development of Asset Management Plans. - Lead insights from the Asset Lifecycle Plans to support strategic planning and decisions. - Manage, lead or support programs and projects that drive harmonisation and best practice operations using learnings from Asset Lifecycle Plans. - Monitor and track the outcomes of Asset Lifecycle Plans and continuously look for opportunities for improvements. - Collaborate across business units to develop artefacts and ensure the artefacts are accepted by the business owners and appropriate sign-off is obtained. - Provide inputs to improvement programs including suitable projects, estimated value, and schedule for delivery, governance, sponsorship, assessment and prioritisation. - Ensure the impact on the business and change management processes are effectively utilised to ensure success. - Lead the implementation of the City FM Asset Management Framework, ensure appropriate engagement and "buy-in" from stakeholders to ensure success. - Building strong relationships throughout the business and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and processes are key attributes to be successful in this position. - Provide updates and presentations. **To succeed in this role, you will have/be**: - Masters or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent. - A minimum of 7 years of experience with proven results in their specialist area with the ability to translate this to a continuous improvement environment. (Highly desirable) - Developed strategic asset management plans and have a working knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO55001. - You'll be a strategic thinker who can articulate complex problems into simple concepts and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation. - As a strong communicator, both written and verbal, you enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders. - You are naturally an organised person and have the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm under pressure. - Obtain the commercial acumen to drive value through the business. - You’ll have proven experience writing reports and telling compelling stories using data. **What we offer**: - Competitive salary and career progression - Secure employment within growing organisation - Encouraging and supportive team - Hybrid working model (2 days in office - 3 work from home) - Free onsite parking when in office - Access to reward and recognition benefits If you would like the opportunity to be part of a growing Australian Facilities Management business, we would love to hear from you.
