Strategic Asset Management Program Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY With two direct reports, this newly created role will see you lead City FM’s Strategic Asset Management Program. It is also a hands-on role so you will get the opportunity to showcase your asset management skills whilst leading a team to deliver the program. **The role will be responsible for**: - You'll lead the implementation of the City FM Asset Management Program and ensure appropriate engagement and "buy-in" from stakeholders to ensure success. - You'll collaborate across business units to develop artefacts and ensure the artefacts are accepted by the business owners and appropriate sign-off is obtained. - You'll develop Asset Lifecycle Plans, and lead insights to support strategic planning and decisions. - You’ll monitor and track the outcomes of Asset Lifecycle Plans and continuously look for opportunities for improvements. - You'll ensure the impact on the business and change management processes are effectively utilised to ensure success of the Program - Building strong relationships throughout the business and the ability to clearly articulate ideas and processes are key attributes to be successful in this position. - You’ll provide representations and updates to senior stakeholders. **To succeed in this role, you will have/be**: - A Masters or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum of 10-15 years of experience with proven results in their specialist area with the ability to translate this to a continuous improvement environment. (highly desirable) - You'll have developed strategic asset management plans and have a working knowledge of relevant industry standards such as ISO55001. - You'll be a strategic thinker who can articulate complex problems into simple concepts, and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation. - You'll have an excellent understanding of one or more of the operating business functions. - As a strong communicator, both written and verbal, you enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders. - You are naturally an organised person and have the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm under pressure. - You'll have the commercial acumen to drive value through the business. - You’ll have proven experience writing reports and telling compelling stories using data. - You’ll have proven success leading teams to deliver large programs of works. - You’ll have proven success motivating and driving high performance in teams. **What we offer**: - Competitive salary and career progression - Secure employment within growing organisation - Encouraging and supportive team - Hybrid working model (2 days in office - 3 work from home) - Free onsite parking when in office - Access to reward and recognition benefits City is an Equal Opportunity Employer who supports and encourages the diverse needs of each individual Team Member.
