Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a **Project Administrator**to join our Sydney Team. We seek a motivated Administrator who can look after project lifecycle administration but also manage the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This role will give you the opportunity to:
- Support the office, project managers and senior management in all Geosyntec offices
- Proposal and Project set up
- Assisting with Purchase Order setup and maintenance (including submitting supplier invoices)
- Monthly Invoicing cycle
- Client Purchase Order reviews
- Timesheet reporting
- Tracking account payable and receivables
- Purchase Order / Expense Reconciliation / Supplier Management
- Inbox Management - Geosyntec Admin & Personal
- General office administration
- Stationery & printing consumables, post & couriers, catering, kitchen supplies, building management or real estate liaison etc
- Site Onboarding / Medicals / Travel requests / Document control
Education and Licensure:
- A minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in project administration, preferably in a professional services firm
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in accounting or finance is preferred; however, significant work-related experience may be considered
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience in Professional Services Firm (Engineering Preferred)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (preferred)
- Project administration experience. (preferred)
- Invoicing experience. (preferred)
- Knowledge of JDE, Oracle, SAP, Coupa or other accounting software. (required)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. (required)
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Ability to demonstrate strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work with multiple time zones and team members over multiple offices.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite. (e.g. MS Word, Excel)
