**About the Job**
We are searching for an energetic and experienced Commercial Sales Manager to drive industry-leading results through development and execution of strategic sales and marketing plans, and to remotely lead a dedicated WFH reservations and sales team to achieve sales targets through great customer experiences.
The role is responsible for delivering the commercial sales targets for the Boarding, Daycare, Retail, Dog Training, Transport and Education business units, in collaboration with the business unit managers. The role is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the company’s overall sales strategy; developing and implementing the annual marketing plan; driving sales of products, goods, and services to our customers, with and through the reservations, sales teams and facility reception teams; and achieving customer acquisition and retention targets to secure revenue growth targets through competitive and innovative sales programs.
**Main Areas of Responsibility**
- Lead the development and implementation of commercial sales & marketing strategy.
- Manage the (remote) Reservations team and Marketing team.
- Develop and deliver the annual commercial sales and marketing plan.
- Develop & manage relationships with key partners, including internal and external stakeholders in the B2C and B2B channels.
- Secure customer profiling, and customer lifecycle management, including cross-selling opportunities; customer attraction, engagement and retention.
- Manage customer satisfaction programs and implement improvement actions.
- Take ownership of, and execute, the social media strategy and digital presence.
- Coordinate marketing materials and brand marketing plans in conjunction with the Marketing team.
- Manage the products and services portfolio of the company, including the identification and development of new services.
- Maintain core business and manage the sales and marketing elements of network growth, including ownership of the pricing strategy for services.
- Analyse and report on performance of sales and marketing function.
**About You**
You have experience working in a highly competitive and growing segment, a passion for customer experience and sales strategies, and a strong desire to succeed. Customer, People and Results centric, you have/are:
- At least 5 years’ experience in commercial sales leadership position, with a proven record of achievements, preferably in healthcare professional services
- A savvy commercial approach to sales and marketing, ability to handle diverse demands on your time, and a robust, mature work ethic with a high level of accountability to get things done well and on time.
- Advanced knowledge of sales techniques throughout the sales cycle to conversion.
- High analytic ability, including ability to conduct competitor analysis & utilise data to tailor sales plans and price points.
- Highly driven to exceed sales targets by executing high customer acquisition and customer retention conversion rates
- Ability to manage a multi-channel sales strategy and experience in managing sales results across multiple locations.
- Strategic visionary with ability to provide useful advice that brings together quantifiable metrics with innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Superior communicator with all stakeholders, both internal and external customers, and demonstrated strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- Empathetic and motivating leadership skills, as an excellent mentor, coach, and people manager, who gets enormous personal satisfaction helping others to be successful.
