Business Improvement Consultant

**About the Role**
As a Business Improvement Consultant, you will assist the Business Improvement team to ensure that all compliance requirements of operational programmes are documented, maintained and managed via clear documentation, system controls and exception reporting. You will also identify improvements to streamline the business processes and system functionality, whilst meeting the compliance obligations. Your strong written skills will help shape the framework for our staff to follow through the preparation of clear, concise and logical documents.
This role will be based in our Adelaide CBD office and is being offered on a full time ongoing basis.
**About You**
To be successful in the role you will be able to:
- Demonstrate ability to understand government contracts and guidelines with the ability to track the compliance requirements against the internal business processes;
- Demonstrate experience in business improvement, process mapping, business analysis or project management.
- Demonstrate knowledge in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) to deliver accurate business process maps
- Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills as this role will require communication with a wide range of internal stakeholders to promote project actions across the business and resolve cross-program issues;
- Demonstrate ability to document the requirements of needed system changes to align the system with the business processes.
- Demonstrate experience with Project Management methodologies such as MS Project/PRINCE2 or other project management software will be highly regarded;
- Demonstrate strong performance in contributing to a team-oriented environment (as part of a project organisation structure)
- Demonstrate excellent strategic thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
You will also be required to:
- Hold a current driver’s licence and possess a willingness to undertake intra-state/interstate travel as required;
- Hold a Certificate IV in Business Improvement, project Management, Business or similar; and
- Excellent computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite with the ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm.

**Remuneration**
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
