Landscape Construction Foreman

iScape Projects have been working in the landscape/civil industry for over 7 years and we are looking for two new Landscape Foremen to join our team.

Our work ranges from large scale industrial projects with some of the nation’s leading builders and developers, multi-residential/education projects that involve detail hard landscape and soft landscape works and commercial civil contracts that utilise our large fleet of machines and vehicles.

As a Foreman you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project; including but not limited to - arranging deliveries, supervising subcontractors, and managing staff works such as:

- Paving
- Concreting and Asphalt
- Timber Decking & Furniture
- Retaining walls
- Bulk and detailed excavation using in house machines and trucks
- Irrigation and soft landscape works

To be successful for this position you will need the following attributes:

- Strong knowledge in the landscape construction industry
- A detailed and broad understanding of landscape methodology and the construction process
- Experience in managing staff and subcontractors on large scale projects
- Capacity to liaise with clients with the ability to manage expectations with the help of the PM
- Clear communication (verbal & written) and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm to grow with the business and to strive to take on bigger challenges

Essential Criteria:

- Drivers Licence - manual
- White card
- First Aid & CPR
- WWCC - or willing to obtain if required
- Cert III Landscape Construction or equivalent

The following are highly regarded but are not essential:

- VOCs and or Truck Licenses
- Windows & Aconex Experience
- Understanding of Project Management Tasks
