About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced an Landscape Team Leader to join a committed team delivering high-quality landscaping projects. This role spans both residential and commercial sites, with a strong focus on school environments. The position is hands-on and requires a diverse skill set in construction-based landscaping, including excavation, concreting, paving, and timber works. A strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and compliance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excavate footings, trenches, and prepare sites for landscaping works
  • Construct retaining walls using a variety of materials
  • Install concrete pathways, access ramps, and paved surfaces
  • Carry out timber constructions such as decking and fencing
  • Operate landscaping machinery safely and maintain equipment
  • Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Maintain professional communication and conduct, particularly on school sites

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in structural landscaping projects
  • Skilled in excavation and machinery operation
  • Proven ability in paving, concreting, decking, and retaining wall construction
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and work independently
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality outcomes
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Trade qualification in Landscaping or equivalent
  • MR or HR driver's licence
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • White Card (Construction Induction)
