**About the Role**

**As our Operational Account Manager, you will be responsible for targeted growth, building strategic relationships and, overseeing and coordinating service operations to ensure that fire safety systems are installed, maintained, and serviced to the highest standards. This full-time role is pivotal in managing the team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service to our client base in the Sydney Metropolitan area. Ideally, this role is designed for an individual with fire industry experience, with a related trades background.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and resolving challenges to ensure efficient and high-quality completion of all tasks.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, driving productivity and excellence in the maintenance and servicing of fire protection systems, including training/induction, conducting toolbox meeting, chasing debtors and attending account management meetings.
- Workplace, health and safety responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with company/branch policies and KPI’s.
- Ensure that all work aligns with contractual requirements and industry standards. Conduct thorough site inspections, field leadership activities and audits to maintain top-quality performance.
- Maintain effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, implementing solutions and improvements to enhance overall operations.
- Scheduling of technicians and administration duties as required.

**What We Are Looking For**
- Previous experience in sales/account management, preferably within the fire protection/service industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support technicians effectively, guiding them in their daily tasks.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven capability to efficiently schedule and plan tasks while managing competing priorities.
- Strong understanding of Workplace, Health and Safety responsibilities and compliance.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address and resolve issues effectively.
