About Us

Shoal Bay Country Club is one of Australia's most iconic hospitality destinations. Overlooking the stunning Shoal Bay beach, our venue brings together buzzing bars, a vibrant bistro and restaurant, gaming, live entertainment, functions and late-night trade. We are on an exciting journey to become one of the world's most iconic hospitality groups, led by phenomenal people. With our rapid growth underway, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to step into a key role within our senior management team.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of this multi-faceted, high-volume venue. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll oversee all areas of the business, lead and inspire our passionate team, and ensure we deliver consistently exceptional experiences for every guest.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with strong operational knowledge, exceptional people management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

About You

We are looking for a hospitality professional with:

  • Demonstrated management experience managing large, multi-faceted venues
  • Experience managing late-night, high-volume trades
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage and develop large teams
  • A strong compliance focus with proven relationships across licensing and regulatory bodies
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to interpret and action P&L performance
  • Attention to detail across all facets of venue operations
  • Flexible and available to work a dynamic roster including weekends, late nights and public holidays depending on the demand of the business
  • Current NSW RSA/RCG/ARCG is mandatory
  • Experience using Deputy and IdealPOS is desirable
