We are currently seeking a Clinical Documentation and Policy Specialist to join our Customer Risk and Governance (CRG) Directorate on a full-time, six-month contract. Reporting to the Clinical Governance Lead, this role plays a vital part in ensuring that our clinical policies are not only robust and current, but also support our vision of delivering safe, high-quality care across the organisation. About the Role This is a dynamic and impactful role for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong background in clinical governance, compliance, and health policy. You’ll lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical policies and procedures that align with current legislation, best practice standards, and Uniting’s strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with clinical teams across the state and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to support safe and effective service delivery. Key Responsibilities - Policy Development & Management Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and guidelines in consultation with frontline staff and leadership. - Compliance & Risk Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements, identifying risks and supporting audit processes. - Quality Improvement Analyse policy outcomes, contribute to quality initiatives, and recommend changes to enhance clinical performance and consumer safety. - Stakeholder Engagement - Training & Support Deliver guidance and training to ensure understanding and compliance with clinical policies. - Reporting & Review Maintain documentation, contribute to internal reporting, and participate in audits and reviews to monitor effectiveness. - Travel Occasional travel within metropolitan and regional NSW may be required. About You You’re a Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional with a keen eye for policy detail and a passion for supporting frontline teams to deliver excellence in care. You're comfortable navigating complexity and engaging others to bring policy to life.
