Hays Recruitment have partnered with a leading Federal Government Agency, who require x9 APS5 Internal Review Officer's for their National Head Office in the heart of the Geelong CBD.

**Your new role**

As the APS5 Internal Review Officer, you will work standard full-time business hours from Monday to Friday, with the added bonus of working from home flexibility.

The Internal Reviews Branch is the central point of coordination for the Agency's handling and resolution of reviews and complaints. Working directly with stakeholders, the branch aims to manage and resolve reviews and complaints in a timely manner as outlined in the Service Charter. The APS5 Internal Review Officer is a team membership position that may perform work that involves team leadership responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and allocating work to other members of the team. Further responsibilities will include:

- Working with clients to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests
- Informing clients and their representatives about decisions, reviews and the appeals process
- Undertaking evidence-based decision-making as prescribed in the Act, Operational Guidelines and policies
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes and systems.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To succeed as the APS5 Internal Review Officer, you will need:

- Experience liaising with both internal and external stakeholders
- Case management, complaint handling and resolution, or similar experience is desired
- Experience working within a Government environment desired
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume case load
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team leadership experience desired
- Australian Citizenship is required
