Established and successful trades business ($55 million turnover) that was born out of the need in the market for consumers to be able to engage with trustworthy local trades businesses they can rely on for professional tradespeople for both their businesses and homes.

They operate in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane with 200 onshore and 20 offshore employees, consisting of mostly service technicians apprentices and administration.

**About the Role**

Reporting into the CEO, the General Manager for Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing Sales, Operations, Leadership and Culture.

**Direct reports**:
HR, Marketing, Operations, Finance

**Responsibilities**
- Firstly, analysing and learning the businesses operations, employee challenges and the untapped opportunities.
- Identifying areas for improvement (including areas where the business is profitable and also cost efficiencies that can be made through streamlining, process improvement and automation.
- Reviewing, setting and achievement of KPI's.
- Analysing job metrics e.g. time to complete jobs, average transactions, sales conversions
- Culture and employee engagement, staff retention
- Drive Business improvements, efficiencies in labour and materials, productivity and jobs.
- Driving revenue through the sales process

**Systems used**

Xero accounting, Cloud-based phone system, Google Suite workspace and custom bespoke build job management system

**About You**
- Must have experience across sales, Operations, Leadership and Culture.
- A trade background is preferred but not essential.
- The willingness to learn the business intimately, also work operationally and 'get your hands dirty'.
- An appetite to embed yourself as part of the team (they socialise occasionally after work and its important to get in on the ground level to gain trust).
