First Steps Learning Academy is a privately owned family run business that strives for excellence in early childhood care. Currently operating 7 childcare centres across the Sydney Metropolitan Area the Centres offer families, childcare and education for children 0 to 6 years.

We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Head Office Team. This is a permanent part time or full time role for a passionate, self-motivated, accounts person who has previous experience in the childcare industry.

**The primary responsibilities of this role include**:

- Management of the childcare management system including investigating questions regarding family fee payments
- Provide enrolment administration support to Centre Managers including reviewing bookings and attendances and auditing CCS payments for customers.
- Support families and provide guidance on accessing and maintaining their Childcare Subsidy
- Administration support to Centre Managers including filing, preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, completing regulatory audits and general office management.

**Essential requirements to be successful**:

- Child care management software (Xplor, QKs, Hubworks) highly regarded
- XERO experience desirable.
- Excellent computer skills including experience using MS Word and Excel
- Friendly, professional manner with ability to focus in a busy, noisy environment
- Confidence in managing debtors
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Highly organised with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and priorities to produce work of high quality and consistently meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- Current working with children check (or ability to obtain)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour
