**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and supervise rail infrastructure projects, including track construction, maintenance, and upgrades, to ensure the timely and successful completion of the assigned tasks.
- Implement and enforce strict adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines prescribed by the Rail Safety National Law and other relevant rail authorities. Promote a safety-first culture among team members and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and allocate resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimize project productivity and efficiency.
- Oversee the quality of work performed by the project team and subcontractors, ensuring that all construction and maintenance activities meet the required standards and specifications.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress, address any concerns, and manage expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures to ensure that all tasks are executed in a logical sequence and within the allocated timeframe.
- Identify and address project-related challenges, such as technical issues, delays, and resource constraints, and implement effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily progress reports, safety documentation, and incident reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of work, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to project team members, promoting skill development and continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the Australian Rail industry, with a strong understanding of rail construction, maintenance, and safety practices.
- Knowledge of relevant rail standards, guidelines, and regulations applicable to track work and infrastructure projects.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse project team and subcontractors.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome project challenges and ensure project success.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all project activities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility to work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays if required.
