**About the team**

You will be apart of a division who is responsible for developing, managing and coordinating policy, strategy and program funding relating to the safety of members of the NSW Community.

**About the Role**

The Clinical Services Manager leads and manages the team to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate clinical programs and services to deliver clinical treatment in NSW.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the development, implementation, and co-ordination of the Clinical Services portfolio, to ensure a whole of sector approach to the management and delivery of clinical services programs, in line with strategy, policy, clinical quality and safety guidelines, and current and emerging evidence.
- Lead the monitoring, evaluation, and performance management of Clinical Services programs and
contracts to enhance effectiveness, and to assess and advise on their relevance and potential impact
- Develop and implement systems to ensure effective co-ordination of clinical services programs to ensure
they are evidence-based, person-centred, safe, high quality and effective.
- Lead and manage projects using sound project management methodologies to manage people and
resources through all stages of a project or policy development cycle (planning, development,
implementation, monitoring and evaluation).
- Provide timely advice and information on current and emerging policy, programs, and clinical services, to Senior Executives and key staff within the agency, public health organisations, and related government agencies to ensure issues are satisfactorily addressed.
- Deliver high quality written reports, business cases, briefs, correspondence, and cabinet documents to inform or respond to agency, media or Government requests, or initiate consideration of new policy or program initiatives.
- Build effective, collaborative, professional partnerships with consumers and key stakeholders within NSW
Government Agencies and non-government organisations, which facilitate the delivery of effective, safe and high-quality clinical services programs across the sector

**About you**
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in clinical discipline, public health, management, or other relevant discipline,
or demonstrated equivalent professional experience
- Demonstrated experience working in public health or a relevant clinical environment
- Significant knowledge and understanding of policies, legislation and guidelines impacting on clinical services, delivery, clinical quality and safety, or related areas.
- Experience in managing and leading teams effectively
- Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Skilled at presenting reports, submissions, policies, guidelines, correspondence, and briefs, and ensuring these are prepared and provided to high level of quality
- Proven ability to set work priorities in order to meet the objectives and purpose of the team, in line with
strategy, agreed parameters and approved project plans
