**We are looking for someone who can**:

- Participate in specialist teams to develop and implement specific projects and initiatives that improve the provision of maternity and neonatal service delivery with LHD/SHNs and hospitals, ensuring high levels of work performance and completion of projects within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budget.
- Review and develop evidence based maternity and neonatal clinical guidance utilising clinical and consumer expertise, systems consultation, organisational tools and supports.
- Provide timely, high level advice and support to the Manager Maternity and Neonatal Network, and senior leadership on the development, implementation management and related projects to ensure senior staff are fully briefed on the status of projects.

**What you will be doing**

The Project Officer, Maternity and Neonatal Network will promote, develop, implement and monitor strategic change management programs and initiatives that will improve the level and quality of Maternity and Neonatal health service delivery in Local Health Districts (LHDs) / Specialty Health Networks (SHNs) across NSW. This role will also provide high level advice and executive support functions to senior committees. In particular, this role will be responsible for supporting the activities and priorities of the Maternity and Neonatal Network.

**Remuneration**: $122,850.00 - $139,559.00 per annum excluding Superannuation
**Hours Per Week**: 40 (38 standard + 2hrs toward ADO)

**Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant health industry experience in maternity and neonatal healthcare.
- High level skills in conceptual and systems-thinking with a demonstrated ability to provide expert advice which is strategic and adds value to a project at a state wide level and prioritises a range of stakeholder viewpoints.
- 4. Sound knowledge of the health system in NSW and the national context and broad knowledge and understanding of policy issues related to maternity and neonatal health services.

This position is a permanent/ temporary position and **requires full working rights in Australia** (e.g. Australian citizenship/ permanent resident).
