**We are looking for**
- Excellent stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to influence and partner with diverse teams across the organisation and the broader system
- Ability to develop and implement specific projects relating to key functions of the Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care Network.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within specified timeframes, meeting budget targets and manage competing priorities and resource allocation whilst gaining co-operation and collaboration from major stakeholders.
- 3+ years’ experience working in senior and/or state-wide roles. With an in-depth understanding of anaesthesia and perioperative care issues within the system and proven capability in providing innovative solutions.

The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare.

**What you will be doing**

The Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care Network Manager will primarily manage the development and implementation of strategic projects that will improve quality of anaesthesia and perioperative care services across NSW. The Network Manager will provide high level advice to the Stream Manager, Surgery, Anaesthesia and Interventional Medicine (SAIM) and the Executive Director (PRISM) - to ensure that work plans and projects are delivered to support the Anaesthesia and Perioperative Care Network and the functions of PRISM and ACI.

The Network Manager will guide and support clinicians, hospital and LHD managers and other ACI clinical networks and other relevant anaesthesia and perioperative care health stakeholders to work collaboratively to develop and implement innovative programs, frameworks and models of care aimed at enhancing positive patient outcomes. Network meetings, events and reporting will be organised and coordinated by the Manager who will also participate in other PRISM or ACI projects or programs as directed by the Stream Manager or Executive Director.

This position is managed within the Surgery and Anaesthesia Stream of the PRISM Directorate.

**Remuneration**: $133,671.00 - $159,929.00 per annum excluding Superannuation

**Selection Criteria / Questions**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Extensive experience in project management in a diverse service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes broad knowledge and practical experience in working with clinicians, and within policies and system frameworks relevant to PRISM.
- Highly developed ability to work within and support multidisciplinary teams together with a proven capacity to communicate and negotiate change and improvement initiatives with senior clinicians and executives.
- Demonstrated experience to lead with attention to detail all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation.
- High level system wide knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and directions of anaesthesia and perioperative care healthcare needs and demonstrated experience of reviewing and using evidence-based research to improve health outcomes.

This position is a permanent position and **requires full working rights in Australia** (e.g. Australian citizenship/ permanent resident). **COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy**
