**About the role**

We are looking for a Purchasing Officer to join our team based in our head office. In this role, you will ensure the planning and execution of purchasing activities and requirements for DuluxGroup, across multiple divisions and sites in ANZ and South East Asia.

This is a fantastic opportunity that will further develop your skills. You will work in a complex 1000+ SKU environment, incorporating responsibilities across the breadth of the ANZ Supply Chain.

You will work with varied teams across the business; Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and including new and existing suppliers, co-manufacturers, co-packers and freight forwarders. You will take full ownership for customer service and inventory levels.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage plan orders, requisitions, and purchase orders for local, overseas suppliers and Third-Party manufacturers.
- Work with Demand Managers to identify and action demand changes
- Facilitate NPD process - checking of system set up, delivery date and quantities status, monitoring of demand, providing advice as required
- Be involved in continuous improvement projects, including involvement in cross-functional project teams

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in complex manufacturing supply chain environment is preferable
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing
- Numerical and Excel skills to utilise data and enable data-driven insights
- Highly proficient understanding of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to seek for improvements and drive process enhancement
