**About School Infrastructure**

School Infrastructure NSW (SINSW) is delivering new school buildings, major upgrades and maintenance strategies to ensure every school-aged child has access to high quality education facilities at their local public school. This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.

**About the role**

The Public Private Partnership (PPP) Unit sits within Asset Management and is responsible for the administration of two existing school PPP contracts. The Unit liaises with PPP partners, school principals and other stakeholders to ensure the Department is receiving value for money with regard to all services (soft and hard FM services) as specified in each contract.

As a Finance and Administrator Officer in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Unit, you will be responsible for providing a range of contract, financial and administrative support services to support the successful delivery of all programmes in a timely, efficient and professional manner. Integral to ensuring internal and external client and stakeholder enquiries are attended to whilst maintaining a high level of customer service. Responsibilities include:

- Financial management including completing financial and purchasing transactions utilising appropriate systems and processes, to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures and relevant legislative requirements.
- Records management including maintaining the TRIM computerised records management system for the unit by creating, storing, retrieving and archiving files to ensure compliance with records management policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Maintaining project and contract systems.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to exchange information and provide financial and administrative information.

The role is within a small team, which provides technical expertise and leadership in the ongoing review and implementation of standards with respect to facilities and operations developed under the PPP.

**Essential requirements of the role**
- Current driver's licence.
- Knowledge and understanding of infrastructure in the context of SINSW’s services, client base and stakeholders, or similar industry knowledge.
- Experience in providing high quality, customer focused administrative support in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of and a commitment to the Department’s Work Health and Safety (WHS) Policy.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

- Strong administration, customer service and/or financial management experience
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in minimising financial risks and achieving value for money
- Understanding of the PPP framework
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think and solve problems
- Ability to develop and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
