**About the role**

As the ALH Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to drive uplift in the ALH Group’s compliance and assurance frameworks, systems and processes.
Reporting to the Head of Legal - Regulatory and working closely with key stakeholders across the business, this role will provide compliance support to the business focused on gaming, liquor, food safety and compliance with ALH policies, procedures and key agreements. This role will involve the management of a number of compliance professionals.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Lead, support, motivate and develop the compliance team at ALH
- Advise and engage the business on compliance and conduct related matters
- In close consultation with the Group Support Team at Endeavour Group Limited, keep abreast of regulatory changes impacting ALH and effectively communicate such changes to the business, analyse the impact on the business and resulting actions
- Develop, implement and maintain various policies, procedures and controls reflecting the business’ regulatory and conduct obligations
- Manage and uplift the ALH compliance frameworks, including compliance monitoring plans, ensuring the plans remain relevant and is fully operational having regard to the relevant regulatory risks
- Provide regular compliance reports to senior management
- Provide assistance in respect of external regulatory investigations, as required
- Provide assistance in any other specific or general way to the Head of Legal - Regulatory and escalate where necessary

**About you**

You’ll have demonstrated experience in leading and supporting compliance functions within a retail, gaming/wagering or financial services environment, with experience in a complex matrix environment.
To be successful, you’ll also have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study.
- Equivalent work experience.
- Team Management or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong ability to think strategically and continuously explore new ways to understand and deliver on changing customer needs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to build and foster positive relationships.
- Strong initiative, time management and exceptional communication skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment that is navigating technological and cultural change, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions with a common objective.
